Program

At Istrobot 2026 competition, you will see not only quality competitive performances but also demonstrations of real industrial robots from our partners.

Brightpick Autopicker is the world's only mobile robot that automatically picks and consolidates orders directly in warehouse aisles, just like a human with a cart. This patented robot can handle diverse products thanks to 3D vision and artificial intelligence that has been trained on more than a billion operations.

Information for the Public

The competition is open to spectators, admission is free. No registration is required, just come.

Categories and Rules

Robots compete in the following categories:

Line Follower

The line follower robot must navigate a predefined track as quickly as possible and overcome all its challenges. The track contains various obstacles, such as line interruptions or bricks that must be circumvented.

Ketchup House

In this category, the task is to build a robot that can correctly organize cans of tomato paste in a warehouse. Two robots compete, and the one that collects more cans wins.

LegoSumo

Two robots push each other out of a circular ring, and the stronger one wins. In this category, only Lego robots compete.

Micromouse

An autonomous robot - mouse must find its way through a maze as quickly as possible. The right-hand or left-hand rule can be used to navigate the maze, but such a path will not be the shortest.

Freestyle

This category is designed for demonstrating your robots. Each competitor can showcase everything their robot can do. The winner is decided by a jury based on the robot's presentation and interview with the author.

Common rules continue to apply to all categories, mainly concerning safety and materials used.

Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

By registering and completing the application for the Istrobot competition, participants agree to the publication of their personal data in the form of registration, starting list, and results on the competition website (istrobot.sk and robotika.sk). Names of winners may also appear in press releases and media, as well as on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). Competitors agree to the publication of their videos on competition pages and social networks (e.g., istrobot.sk, robotika.sk, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) with proper attribution to the author.

Photography and video: Our events are public. Your personal data in the form of photographs and video recordings concerning you as a participant or your personal expressions in connection with your participation in the event are processed for the purpose of their acquisition (creation) and use, in the form of their publication on the robotika.sk and istrobot.sk websites, on social networks, in press releases and with co-organizers, and for the purpose of promoting the organizers and robotics. Please note that such recordings will be made during the event and that by participating you express consent to this processing of personal data. If you do not consent, you have the option to object to the creation of image/audio-visual recordings of yourself to the photographer/cameraman.
